About Australian Network Adjusters
ANA – National Strength, Local Expertise
ANA is a state managed national network of over 50
independent loss adjusting companies located in every state across
Australia. Australian Network Adjusters Pty Ltd is the management
arm of the ANA members. The shareholders and directors are its state
managers, each of them a separate corporate entity, trading as ANA in their
region.
Why was ANA Formed?
A recent survey of claims managers revealed that
most insurers (78%) preferred the services provided by independent loss
adjusters but chose national loss adjusting companies for the convenience of
centralised management, common reporting and service standards. ANA
was formed with the goal of incorporating the service benefits of independent
operators with the convenience of a national company.

Our Procedural System
ANA have utilised process mapping and developed a
unique systems management approach to the handling of claims. This
has led to the development of a procedures manual which tracks the entire
claims handling process and identifies the problem areas in claims handling,
and how to address them. ANA can customise the procedures manual to
match a client’s internal systems, service standards and requirements.
ANA network member's have ready access to this
procedures manual, thus ensuring that they have clear understanding on the
agreed procedures. The ANA state manager is responsible for
ensuring compliance by the network members in their state. The
benefit for clients is that the ANA state management accepts responsibility for
ensuring that the entire claims handling process is carried out efficiently,
and in accordance with service requirements.
Online Claims Management
ANA has developed an electronic information system
to support our procedures system and streamline our Australia-wide claims
management. Our electronic management system allows authorised
parties to submit claims via the internet to our state offices for handling by
an appropriate network member. Authorised parties can also login to
the system to view claims status and receive up to date information concerning
claims under their management.
